Have you ever seen a dead fly? Because I haven't. Is that weird? We always see flies around us, buzzing, shitting on our fruit--but we never see them dead. And yet they supposedly have a life span of only a matter of hours. Maybe that's because they return to life, rising from their own ashes like tiny black phoenixes. Resurrections everyday in the back corners of our living rooms. Maybe the common fruit fly is Jesus.
